Sika Near East engaging to employ Palestinians under new Lebanese social insurance law. Sika is an equal opportunity provider

 
According to National Social Security Fund (NSSF) Memo no 437 dated 23 May 2011 issued by the NSSF , Palestinians who work in Lebanon are subject to end of service indemnity contributions starting 2 September 2010, provided that the following conditions are met :
 
1. The employee is resident in Lebanon
2. The employee is registered with the directorate of Political Affairs and refugees ministry of             Interior and Municipalities.
3. The employee is employed by one employer or more
4. The employee has a work permit in accordance with the laws and regulations in force.
 
Palestinian employees who work in Lebanon met the above requirements will benefit from the EOSI Benefits similar to any Lebanese employee, and are exempt from the reciprocity conditions provided in Labour and NSSF Laws.
 
Please note that Palestinians are still not eligible to benefits under Sickness and Maternity and family allowance schemes.
